Say fellas, wouldn't it be more modernistic to start pushing toward
using, say a user-website-address, I mean with

2001-04-16 Dan Jacobson <http://www.geocities.com/jidanni>

        * pole2tm.c (read_pole): now checking result of fgets...

Maybe the answer to what the user is wanting to contact "Dan Jacobson"
about is right there on his web page, whereas with

2001-04-16 Dan Jacobson <jidanni@jidannis.mail.address.org.tw>

        * pole2tm.c (read_pole): now checking result of fgets...

who knows, maybe one has to wait for him to come back from vacation to
answer (to tell you to check his webpage), or maybe "Dan Jacobson" is
one of those haughty types and how dare you send him e-mail, etc. or
maybe he is a famous person who you don't wish to disturb if you knew
better...

On the other hand, for modem users like me, I can queue an e-mail, but
for web pages I must first connect, read it "by hand", to figure out
the guy's e-mail address. So just more kruft suggestions from me, in
this case.

Anyway, just a concept, web addresses moving into replace or be given
in addition to old fashioned e-mail addresses, which I mentioned in
another of my brilliant postings, about ThankYou lists.
