Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

I tried to get information about the variable 'calendar-holidays',
since it is refered to in many places in the documentation, but I
can't find any. For example when I click on `calendar-holidays' in the
customization buffer for christian-holidays, I get the following
information:


calendar-holidays is void

Documentation:
not documented as a variable.

I can't find the variable with "Describe variable" or "Appropos
variable" either.
