Error using cygwin and MingW

I am trying to find a way to use your library under a windows environment, problem is that when I tried to cross compile using MingW I get the following response:

 

$ ./configure --disable-static --enable-shared

I tried compiling on a linux system, and that works fine.. But I can't use the result in a windows app :)

 

Any help you could offer would be great!
