Good question. I don't know what it takes to build a 64-bit gcc on
that system. It's possible is it? I have a suspicion our gmp testing
has only actually used the sun cc for 64-bit stuff.
Really working support is supposed to available starting
with GCC 3.1.
(Sun doesn't seem to care much about GNU support for Solaris,
so if you like GNU, consider getting some other hardware.)
