MacOS9, I don't see any way. If I recall things correctly MacOS9 has no 
relation whatsoever with NetBSD. 

OS X you might have a chance, if you use the most recent libtool and the most 
recent automake/autoconf:
Get those from CVS, and try to make

./configure --prefix /where/you/want/things/to/go

make all install

If configuration does not work, then try the mailinglists of 
automake/autoconf/libtool. These are *very* helpful people with deep 

To come back to the MacOS9: I have no idea whatsoever about MacOS9 
programming. If you would like to do a port (or you know somebody who would 
like to), then don't hesitate to refer him or her to this list.
