Ghostscript Question - Concatenating pdf files

I have multiple pdf files that I need to put in one pdf file from the
command line.  I'm writing a script and I want to be able to create one pdf
file made up of several pdf files.

Can ghostscript help me do this?

I've tried converting the pdfs to postscript and then use ps2pdf, but that
doesn't seem to work.

Any other suggestions?

I'm using Ghostscript 8.00 on an x86 Solaris 8 machine.
