Will do; I didn't readily spot that address in your posting, or in the
[A-Z]* files at top level.

A search through the ghostscript-7.06 tree this morning turned it up
buried in just one place: doc/New-user.htm. I'm hardly a new user:
I've been an Aladdin ghostscript alpha and beta tester back to version
3.33 in 1996, and have done 1000+ builds of test releases since then.

I suggest that a BUG-REPORT file be created at top level with the
necessary information, so that it is easy to find. Although it
appears at the end of the "gs --help" report, if it won't build in the
first place, that message cannot be seen.
