No, that's not what I am saying.

I'm saying that if somone has a 16 years old copy of gettext.m4, with
local modifications, it is them who have to provide support for it.
The probability that the issue does not exist in the recent releases of
GNU gettext is > 90%.

They are not subscribed to bug-gettext. You need to write to them at
the bug report address for gdb.

It is like if you got a bug report about a modified version of a
16 years old Emacs 21.
