Based on the PODIFF output sample from you, I can guess that PODIFF is
almost compatible to the traditional "patch" program. I could not
successfully apply podiff.txt on gettext-runtime-0.18.eo.po, but its
format looks very close to the plain diff format. If this is the case,
then PODIFF has a field of application different from the "poediff"
from the Pology toolkit, since you definitely cannot apply embedded
diffs with the "patch" program.
