Thanks for the reply, Andrew. I've just run the version of GDB included
with the beta of Mac OS 10.4, and it appears that the problem has been
fixed. The version number of GDB also jumped from gdb-330.1 (Xcode
Tools 1.5) to gdb-368 (Xcode Tools 2.0).
