GDB 5.0 does not work

Hi,

We are developing application over IBM PowerPC PPC403GCX.

We used powerpc-eabi-gdb (GDB 4.16, for sparc-sun-solaris2.6)  to debug
the target.

The size of the executable is 1.8 Mbytes

We installed the new powerpc-eabi-gdb (GNU gdb 5.0) on
sparc-sun-solaris2.7

it size is bigger than 21 Mbytes !!!

We do not manage to establish link with the target with the new version.

We will appreciate any idea.
