Hi Danil,
thanks for the appreciation but I am not the author of gcal.
I didn't manage to find a way to print only the Moon day, probably it
can be computed looking at the next new moon and then compute the
difference in days? Probably this should be added to gcal, as the
information is already there.
The following command though, prints the current phase of the moon:
gcal -f/dev/null -#0*d1#999_%O --today -x
