Hi,
I have problem to generate a list of German holidays in German language.
I compiled gcal 3.6.3 using
export LINGUAS=de
./configure --with-included-gettext
make
make install
If I then try
export LANG=de; /usr/local/bin/gcal -q DE_BY --holiday-list
I get
Eternal holiday list: The year 2015 is NO leap year
New Year's Day (DE_BY) + Th, < 1>Jan 2015
Epiphany/Three King's Day (DE_BY) + Tu, : 6:Jan 2015 = +5 days
Women's Shrove Day (DE_BY) - Th, 12 Feb 2015 = +42 days
St Valentine's Day (DE_BY) - Sa, 14 Feb 2015 = +44 days
Ash Monday (DE_BY) - Mo, 16 Feb 2015 = +46 days
and so on.
But I want German names, e.g. Neujahrstag, not New Year's Day.
What am I doing wrong - or is this a bug?
My system:
Linux honolulu 3.13.0-43-generic #72~precise1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 9
12:14:42 UTC 2014 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Kind regards,
ulrich
