I am trying to get approval to load the current version of GAWK (e.g. 4.1.3) at work. They have stringent rules about external software and say that I need to get:
--> "The manufacture to send me the MD5 Hash code. The purpose of this is to: ensure that the version I load, has been tampered with by a 3rd party".
How do I get this Hash Code? They will not accept me downloading the current code and using my copy of md5Checker to generate it. Instead, it has to be from a 'reputable source'. I have searched the net and cannot find any kind of MD5 check sum for GAWK.
