Hi,
Thanks for contributing your song under the GPL license.
The source form is what you'd use to modify/improve the song. For
instance, one would need the source form to re-generate the song as a
MP3 rather than a MIDI. It's most likely the file you use with your
composition software. (For the song I contributed, it was a
RoseGarden .rg file.)
MP3 are not good for licensing reasons, but OGG Vorbis are supported.
