Thanks for the hint.

I note that this requires people to jail-break their equipment, which
apparently only 1 iphone owner out of 10 do, which considerably
reduces the impact of the port, and with legal uncertainty in some
countries :/

This sounds sub-optimal to - say - having Apple fix a couple lines in
the Apple Store TOS to remove the licensing issues, doesn't it :)
