Findutils 4.2.11 is released on alpha.gnu.org

I'm happy to announce the availability of findutils version 4.2.11 at
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/findutils. 

This release is a minor bugfix release, mainly.  It issues some
bugfixes which have been made over the last month or so.  There have
been a number of minor functional improvments also, notably including
"locate -S" and a new test, "-samefile" for find.

The NEWS file for this release says:-

* Major changes in release 4.2.11

**  Bug Fixes
*** Compilation fix for systems without EOVERFLOW.
*** More helpful error message if you make a mistake with (, ), -o or -a.
*** locate's options -i and -w now work with the -e option (previously a bug 
    prevented this).

**  Functionality Changes
*** If you have unclosed parentheses on the find command line, 
    or any of a number of similar problems, find will now produce 
    a more helpful error message.
*** locate -b is now a synonym for locate --basename
*** locate now supports a --statistics (or -S) option, which prints some
    statistics about the locate databases.
*** Implemented the -samefile option.

**  Documentation improvements
*** New chapter in the manual, "Security Considerations". 
*** Better documentation for -prune (Mainly thanks to Stepan Kasal)

The following Savannah bugs have been fixed:
11220: UNICOS 9.0 - can't figure out how to use your getmntent()
11280: -printf '%P' not working correctly?

The following Savannah patches have been applied:
3563: various documentation fixes 
3564: remove a duplicate entry from ChangeLog

Findutils still needs a better test suite.  This is because I plan to
implement the "-exec ... +" and "-execdir" options, which will involve
refactoring xargs to make use of some of its code in find.  Since we
don't want to break xargs while doing this, a more comprehensive test
suite would be a good idea.  If you are willing to lend a hand in this
area, please let me know.
