Browsing over latest CVS I found this:

New option "-ignore_readdir_race" (opposite -noignore_readdir_race)
silences an error messages which would otherwise occur if a file is
removed after find has read it from the directory using readdir(), but
before find stats the file.

Could this option be used in updatedb? Currently the only sane way to
run updatedb with cron is with '>/dev/null 2>&1' because you get these
spurious errors. But this will dump real errors too.
