Summary: Documentation for '-printf %k' insufficient
Original Submission:
This is Debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/208307
find's info documentation has just these expanations for %s and %k:
| %k File's size in 1K blocks (rounded up).
| %s File's size in bytes.
which imho fails to convey that %k reports the amount of disk space used by the
file instead of just %s divided by size-of-block.
I'd suggest copying the respective explanation from GNU file/coreutils' info
manual for ls -s.
