Perhaps you could be more specific. Which command from the GNU
fileutils collection do you think contains a bug? What is the version
of that program? Generally the GNU utilities will report their
version number when invoked with the --version option. Please include
the version number if possible. But at the very least we would need
to know the name of the program.
On initial reading of your report I would guess you are having
problems with one of /etc/passwd, the /bin/login program, the ftpd
server. None of those are part of the fileutils collection. Let me
suggest the comp.os.linux.setup news group as a better place to find
help for your problem.
