Send me then a proper bug report for every one of them and I'll fix 
them. It is easy to say "file I/O is broken", but I have not the time to 
search what, if something at all, is broken with file I/O.

Yes, Andrew is the guy that was unable to produce a working ed 0.3 for 
almost 13 years.
