Regarding point two, I'm pretty sure I have seen drivers that will permit you
to mount an ISO file which resides on writable storage as a separate Drive
letter, where upon you can go in and stir things around, and then unmount it
and have a changed ISO file to burn. I'm afraid I don't have a specific pointer
though.
