[Bug-ddrescue] Error in logfile

I'm getting an error that I have never seen before which says the following:

ddrescue: error in logfile <path and name of error log removed> line 5

Here are the first 6 lines of the logfile:

# Rescue Logfile. Created by GNU ddrescue version 1.16
# Command line: ddrescue -d -n /dev/sdc <content removed>
# current_pos  current_status
0x111B7800     +
#      pos        size  status
0x00000000  0x111B0000  +

Any ideas on what the issue is?
