Putting a binary together per se isn't time consuming. Deciding

whether or not to do it,
what to do if we iterate,
        what patches go into it/them
        and how to identify it/them

are all beyond my level of competence and duplicate what we're doing for
the forthcoming 1.11.19 release anyway.

Is the "BUGS" file up to date with respect to 1.11.18 issues?

Any objection to posting 1.11.18 binary "AS IS" with "Obsolete" status?

OK but I don't want to hear news of the homicide of a noted open
source developer for working on Thanksgiving day. :)
