Program: cvs
Version: 1.11.15
Host: all
Synopsis: "cvs co modulename/dir_does_not_exist" creates work tree
Description:
When "cvs co modulename/dir_does_not_exist" is called, with
"modulename" being an entry in CVSROOT/modules and
"dir_does_not_exist" is a non-existing directory, a work-directory
called "module" is created.
On the other hand, if "modulename" is not in CVSROOT/modules, an error
message is prined:
cvs server: cannot find module `modulename/dir_does_not_exist' - ignored
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules
and no work tree is created. Is this inconsistent behaviour intended?
Reproduce with:
see above
