I thought putting the POSIX list of functions inside a #if 0 ... #endif
was sufficient to help be a hint for future functions that might arise.
The compilation will not see any of them that are not moved outside of
that preprocessor block.
I have no problems with leaving them out as well if that is what you
think should be done.
