Attached. I've added a couple of new config options (PamAuth and
DefaultPamUser) to help control the use of PAM. Your PAM patch
disables the normal SystemAuth code altogether, but mine leaves it in
as an option, so that the auth ordering is:

CVSROOT/passwd (always checked)
PAM (optional, enabled by default - see PamAuth)
/etc/passwd (optional, disabled by default - see SystemAuth)

I'm not too sure what to do about the PAM groups support that Marc is
looking at, being honest...
