Because /src is an automounted directory and you cannot mount things under
it (since it is controlled by amd):

% df /src
Filesystem           1k-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
fsdv1:(pid781)               0         0         0   -  /src

Now, I could change my cvs machine not to use amd, but then this machine
would be `special' and I don't like to special case things for no reason.

I am trying not to make trouble for myself, but it seems that using amd
and cvs together is not an easy task.
