Hi, I found that the "c" option centos and ubuntu has a different default.
On ubuntu is same as format odc, while on centos is same as format newc.
This creates problem when using common historic shells using "cpio -ic...".
Is there any place where gnu cpio looks for this default that I can change in ubuntu?
Thanks
Gabriele
