DF issue

I encountered the following problem while using DF to report disk usage.
The first entry (C:\) is, indeed, an (app.) 80G HD. However, (F:\) is
a 2G thumb drive.

C:\                     78091964   32323524  45768440  42%   NTFS
F:\                     78091964   32323524  45768440  42%   FAT

In the spirit of the quote, "I learn from my mistakes - I expect to
learn a lot today", I find it very easy to believe that I am doing
something incorrectly.

Please enlighten me.
