Problems while booting Morphix with chroot

Hi, I downloaded the Morphix LiveCD with LightGUI and burned it, but it does
not load right. I put the cd in and it shows the boot menu, but when it
starts to boot, it hangs and freezes at the splash screen where it says "press
f2
to enter verbose". When I booted it in Failsafe mode, it showed the commands
going through, and went file until it got to a certain part. First, like 20
lines of text flew by, so I could not read it. Then, it says "chroot: cannot
run mkdir, destination is not a directory". then it shows a few more errors
then says "chroot: cannot run command sh. Input/Output Error". This is not the
first time that an error during the chroot portion of a Linux boot has
prevented me to use Linux. SLAX Server Linux also gave me a chroot error
message.
How do I get Morphix to load correctly? I am trying to run Morphix with a
Toshiba Satellite 1905 Series laptop with 256 mb of RAM and an Intel Pentium 4

Processor.
