The gnu.org web maintainers have been busy! It looks very much
different than the last time I was over there.

Hmm... I was able to find the FAQ from the main coreutils page. But
I can't claim it was a short path. But here is the page you want.

  http://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/

I was able to get to there through a rather long route from the main
page. Here is the path.

  http://www.gnu.org/
    [Free Software Directory]
  http://www.gnu.org/directory/
    [All GNU Packages]
  http://www.gnu.org/directory/GNU/
    [coreutils]
  http://www.gnu.org/directory/GNU/coreutils.html
    [Web page]
  http://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/
    [FAQ for the core utilities]

That route gets you to the coreutils web page and from there to the
FAQ and mailing list information. Only the coreutils web page can be
modified by the folks over here. All of the others are maintained by
the gnu.org web maintainers. This route looks to be the same for all
of the GNU software packages there.
