        Yes, it is maintained :). Currently, Savannah (sv.gnu.org) is
preferred to Sourceforge. As always, later releases (which now include
the fix you mention) can be downloaded from any GNU mirror.

        The SF site is now rather outdated, perhaps we should put a
note there pointing to savannah...
