        This was a serious bug, it is fixed since the release 1.0.4 of
Common C++ 2. If understand that you are using 1.9.7, if so, I
recommend you to upgrade to CC++ 2. You may want to get it from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/commoncpp/ (use ftp, not http, as there are
some problems with http.)
