Just tried install common C++ 1.9.5 and I was not able to install it:
$ uname -a
SunOS cns-build2 5.6 Generic_105181-16 sun4u sparc
$ gcc -v
Reading specs from
/auto/insbu-cnstools/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.6/3.0.3/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.0.3/configure --prefix=/auto/insbu-cnstools
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.0.3
Command used:
$ ./configure --prefix=/auto/insbu-cnstools
$ make
c++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I../src -I../src -g -O2 -D_GNU_SOURCE
-D_REENTRANT -D_THREAD_SAFE -c thread.cpp -fPIC -DPIC
-o .libs/thread.lo
