I believe you have implemented an obsolete version of the hash function
Whirlpool.
There have been three versions of this hash function:
1) submission to the NESSIE evaluation effort
2) version improved after receiving comments from the NESSIE evaluation team
3) version improved after receiving some more comments (after the NESSIE
evaluation closed).
Version 2 is what you have implemented.
Only the third version is included in ISO-10118-3. This is also the version
available from
http://paginas.terra.com.br/informatica/paulobarreto/WhirlpoolPage.html.
