Hi Mark,
I found a little bug with the "nofile" option. When you specify a
"type=absolute" and "nofile=force" on a link, it still does not create it
if the path does not exist. I've attached a conf file that demonstrates the
bug, as well as the patch that fixes it. When you run the test-case with
version 1.6.3 of cfengine, it only creates the one relative link, the other
two absolute ones are not created because it complains that it can't stat
the directory.
Please look it over, and let me know if you see any problems with it.
