I want to report a problem with bison (though you might be aware of it)
bison-2.0 (and also 1.75) segfaults when reading a grammar file with
sintax errors
step to reproduce:
process the attached parse.y with bison-2.0
bison parse.y
parse.y:3.14: Segmentation fault
The version in CVS does not segfault, however it prints a message full of
strange symbols
parse.y:3.14: missing `{' in *)/+L--+)21B.Xaÿ%ÿ] ÿFÿbÿ./ÿhÿ
ÿÿ7ÿ:;<ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ%ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ.
ÿÿÿ▒▒!"#$%&'(ÿÿ+ÿÿÿ/0
parse.y:3.14: missing identifier in parameter declaration
parse.y:3.14: syntax error, unexpected identifier
best regards,
Pablo De Nápoli
