There is no support for this presently. I do not know about any
package doing this. I never tried to do it myself.
All I know is that the current *_TEXINFO handling sucks in many
ways. In the past there have been discussions about revamping
it[*] but nobody committed himself to the task. Images should
probably be taken into considerations by anyone willing to
redesign Automake's support for Texinfo manuals.
