Re: automake 1.8 errors under Mac OS X 10.3.1

Alexandre,

You found my mistake:

Somehow an old home built version of GNU make (anno 2001) had snuck 
itself into my path. When I rebuilt automake using the 3.79 version of 
GNU make, and re-ran make check I got no errors.
