Thanks.  This log is cluttered with the following message
apparently popping whenever the `test' binary is called:

| initial gids (should be 500/500): r/egid=500/500
| SETUP ERROR: re-run set-group-ID guest
| Use chgrp(1) and chmod(1)
| For example, do this as root (nobody is the name of a group in this example):
| # chgrp nobody test
| # chmod g+s nobody test

If you can fix this, I'm pretty sure it will suppress most errors.
Maybe the `test' in your path is not the usual `test'?
