The sleep thing is fine.
The other one, I don't know.  I'm concerned because we have a
different fix for this problem on the trunk.  And, I'm planning to
release 1.5 this week.

BTW, how do you get 1.4-p* uploaded to the FSF ftp server?
I've forgotten how to do that.
And where do you send the announcement?
