Autoupdate tends not to be run as often, nor does it need to be run by as
many people.  The intended audience for autoupdate is a package maintainer
when they are upgrading from one version of autoconf to another.

We all have to start somewhere.  But this makes it sound like you probably
don't need to run autoupdate; leave it to the package maintainers instead.
