No, it's mostly about user fatigue I think. I've "`info autoconf'd" so
many times in the last three weeks that I felt like I had read the manual
thoroughly. But as it turns I just hadn't read that part carefully enough
to effectively retain the information.
I will take another look at that part of the manual later and see if I
can find a way to rewrite it that makes it totally clear with big red
flashing lights that this is a gotcha to be on the lookout for. If I can,
I'll submit a "patch".
