[Bug-AUCTeX] TeX-command view

In AucTeX from CVS:

M-x TeX-command RET Command: (default View) RET 
results in
View command: evince  some.pdf 1

Then evince tries to open some.pdf *and* 1 and of course fails to load
the latter.
