Maybe I actually had that output yesterday evening(I copied it from the
buffer), but I can't reproduce it now.

M-x find-library:

With the mentioned command it's the same file(and same date).

I had it after (require 'reftex), but switched the location in reaction
to this remark. That error on M-x toggle-debug-on-error is gone now, it
simply produces the already known "\footcite{Internati[32]mmer.2000}".
All tests and checks of variables already mentioned point towards the
2009-04-29-version being the one currently in use.
