After I installed Auctex 11.83 on my system (using Xemacs of Cygwin
and Miktex installation), Xemacs started to behave strangely: 1) There is an icon with yellow triangle with ! mark between Tex icon and DVI icon in the menu. 2) When I click Open (or select it from the menu), the window for
locating files just flashes and in the lower bar, I get an error message "Window height 0 too small (after splitting". [Remark: I read in some reports that loading toolbar-x might help, but it didn't.]
This only happens when a Tex file is loaded.
