Problem regarding pdiff option.

Hi

I have checked your website http://www.gnu.org/software/a2ps/a2ps.html and
the documentation provided but I cannot find the answer to my Question
there. Basically my problem relates to the pdiff option.

The version of a2ps that we are using is GNU a2ps 4.13, and we are using an
Unix system.

Within our organization we use a2ps alot and especially the pdiff option
available with a2ps. The majority of the filenames that we use here are very
long filenames and I noticed that the pdiff option doesn't print filenames
whereby the filename is greater than 44 characters in length.

An example of this would be where filename1 is 50 characters in length and
filename2 is 50 characters in length. If I was to pdiff these two files, I
would not get the diff between the two files instead the only thing that
gets printed is the cover sheet.

Does the pdiff option have a limit on the length of the filenames that it
can diff? or is there something else that can be done regarding this issue?

Your help in this matter is much appreciated.

If you have any questions yourself regarding my query, Please let me know

Thanks
Michael
