This way you won't get any more feedback from end-users.
Only a few follow mailing lists. I think the command-line switch
should remain, just don't mention it in the NEWS if you think
this is better and wait until a documentation is ready.
And by the way, I hope someone could help writing it.
I'm not an English native speaker and I don't feel very
comfortable about writing docs.
