It should work like that *if* /usr/local/lib is in your ldso.conf. What does 
'ssh <remote> ldd `which bino`' report?

You can also try setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH explictly before launching bino, 
Equalizer will mirror this variable on the remote machine during auto-launch.
